P.E.Blake and Son is a family owned and run haulage and tank
hire business established over 50 years ago. We carry bulk chemicals
and other goods around both the UK and Europe including the
eastern bloc, and have on many occasions at our customer's request
delivered to firms as though we have loaded in the UK, when
in reality we have collected from a European country. All our
drivers are long serving and have their City and Guilds ADR
certificates.
The Chemicals firms we currently work for Tessenderlo Chemie,
Elf Atochem, BASF Germany & UK, Shell UK, Rhodia and Akcros.
We hire tankers for static storage or for use on roads. We have
static tanks in our depot that we can use for storage and the
capabilities to drum material off at our site or at any other
premises. We have a crane to containers and storage facilities
for palletised goods.
We have just built a new garage complex this includes an MOT
bay, and a paint shop with low bake facilities. The garage and
paint shop are open 24 hours 6 days a week. The fitters and
painters are fully trained and can tackle any type of mechanical
job, services or accident damage. We also have a recovery vehicle
for HGV's available 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
We have a strong quality assurance system in place and have
been ISO 9002 accredited since 1996.
There are 24-hour contact numbers in case our customers need
to contact us. We have facilities to clear up or contain spillages,
a service we have carried out for Elf Atochem on several occasions.
Prompt response to our customer needs in an efficient and friendly
manner has been and continues to be the reason for the success
of P.E.Blake and Son.
